Event Description

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Boy Scouting, but what you may not realize is that Tidewater Council is one of the oldest Scouting organizations in the country (it was the fifth Council, organized in 1911). To celebrate the anniversary, the Tidewater Council is holding a 100th anniversary (entitled Scout Fest 100) on the grounds of the Virginia Beach Amphitheater from October 15-17, and we expect thousands of scouts and visitors to attend.

For the event we have not only scouts camping for the weekend, we are inviting the public to attend on Saturday (Octobeor 16) and have full day of events for everyone. These events includes the following (more info can be found at www.bsascoutfest100.com):

Doors open at 8:30 am

A popular comedian, actor and commercial spokesperson, Sinbad brings his hilarious, real life, story-telling style of comedy to his show.
